MUS 1213 Students Partner with Center for Coastal Studies to Document Marine Debris

Cornell undergraduates from MUS 1213 partnered with the Center for Coastal Studies for a week-long program combining beach cleanup, data collection, and creative work. The collaboration grew from Cornell lecturer Annie Lewandowski’s research on humpback whale songs and the threats posed by fishing gear entanglement. Now in its fourth year, the partnership continues to blend environmental research, hands-on conservation, and art-making.
