Nicole Reisnour has been appointed Visiting Assistant Professor of Ethnomusicology at Reed College for the 2018—19 academic year. At Reed, she will teach general courses in ethnomusicology as well as seminars related to her research on Southeast Asian music, religion, and ethics. She is currently in the final stages of completing her dissertation, "Sounding Selves: Ethics, Mediation, and the Politics of Religion in Post-Authoritarian Bali,” which she plans to defend in June.
