Punk Possibilities: An Interview with Judith Peraino

The University of Pittsburgh Humanities Center recently conducted an interview with Professor Judith Peraino. In the interview Peraino spoke about her life and career, particularly her work with music and sexuality. Listen to the interview here.

This fall, Professor Peraino will teach her class, Punk Culture: The Aesthetics and Politics of Refusal, which explores punk's origins, U.S. punk's regional differences, its key movements, its race, class and gender relations, and its ongoing influence on global youth culture.
