A new album of Roberto Sierra's works, performed by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, was just released and has garnered a rave review and been named as an Editor's Choice recording. Katherine Cooper of Presto Music says "This exuberantly-played and conducted anthology of music by the Puerto Rican composer (b. 1953) is hands-down the most exciting orchestral recording to cross my path so far this year." Conducted by Domingo Hindoyan, the works on the album span 25 years of Sierra's compositions, including Sinfonietta for String Orchestra and Fandangos. Read more about the album here.
The album was also featured by Radio France, and the broadcast can be heard online.
