Jordan Musser (PhD, 2020) has joined the American Musicological Society's staff in the role of Managing Editor, AMS Publications. The position was established to provide centralized editorial support, management and volunteer coordination for all the Society's print and digital publication volumes, periodicals and projects.
Dr. Musser had previously worked for the American Composers Orchestra, for which he managed the organization’s flagship composer-advancement initiatives––notably its publishing wing. Before that, he served as Program Coordinator for the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards. He has since published his research on avant-garde music and media studies in the Journal of the Royal Musical Association (forthcoming), the Journal of the American Musicological Society, Twentieth-Century Music, and other forums.
