Han Xu (DMA, 2023) has been named a postdoctoral fellow in composition and sound studies at the School of the Arts at Peking University. Dr. Xu will continue his creative practice in sound art and composition, and he will advance his research into the intellectual history of Chinese auditory culture and how this history might contribute to a broader understanding of sound in contemporary life.
