Gabriela Gómez Estévez, assistant professor and director of orchestras, will make her conducting debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of the Dominican Republic next month. The performance is scheduled for January 24 at the National Theater in Santo Domingo, and will feature works by Dvořák, Spohr, and Moncayo.
