Anna Steppler receives Cambridge Fellowship

Recent Ph.D. graduate Anna Steppler has won a coveted Junior Research Fellowship at Peterhouse, Cambridge. The fully-funded,  highly competitive Fellowship at the oldest college of the University of Cambridge is for 3 years beginning in Fall 2023, and will offer Anna the opportunity for sustained post-doctoral research. Anna completed her Ph.D. this past December, with a dissertation on the music theorist and historian Michael Praetorius and the idea of the organ in the decades around 1600; her new project will be to write a study of women in the history and culture of organ, from the early 20th century to today.
