Thu, 12/05/2019

UPDATE: As of 12/5, all tickets have been distributed for both nights of Lessons and Carols, but check back at cornelltickets.com periodically in case tickets get returned. Limited tickets may be available at the door as capacity allows.

For ticketholders:

  • Bring your ticket(s) on your smartphone, or printed out.
  • Enter through the South entrance of Sage Chapel (closest to the Cornell Store) between 6:45pm-7:15pm. There is no indoor waiting area at Sage Chapel.
  • Your ticket expires at 7:15pm, so please arrive before then to guarantee a seat inside. At 7:15pm, any empty seats will be made available to the standby line.

Those without tickets may join the standby line at the North entrance of Sage Chapel (closest to Olin Library). After 7:15pm, the standby line will be admitted if there are seats available.

Cornell University's Lessons and Carols is a treasured annual tradition during the holidays, featuring a performance by the Cornell University Chorus and Glee Club, interspersed with audience carols and traditional readings by members of the Cornell community.

To provide a better audience experience, free tickets will be available online in advance, starting on November 18 at cornelltickets.com

To reserve a ticket, log-in (or register with your email address to create an account) to obtain a ticket for Dec. 8 or 9 (be sure to select the correct date you would like to attend). Print your ticket, or bring it on your smartphone, and enter Sage Chapel through the south entrance between 6:45-7:15pm. The doors will not open before 6:45pm, and there is no indoor waiting area. Willard Straight Hall is available as an indoor waiting area with restrooms. Your entire party should try to enter together if you plan to sit together. There is a limit of 2 tickets per user account.
